When you search for free stock photos on Google, you will find websites that list other sites claiming to offer free images. However, these images often have big watermarks or are not as free as advertised. Usually, you have to pay something like $30 a month to download more than a few images.
Is there a website where I can find good, truly free stock photos for any use? I need something without watermarks and without the risk of getting in trouble for using a simple 200x200 image of two people shaking hands.
Search through thousands of royalty-free images on Pexels. You can use all images for free, even for commercial use. All images are completely royalty-free and licensed under the Pexels license. Use them for any project you want.
Flickr is what I use. A drop-down menu at the top of the search results page allows you to select the license type from which you want to view the results.
I find Unsplash to be a lifesaver. No watermarks and completely free for any use, whether it’s for a business website or personal blog. It’s been my go-to for finding high-quality images without the hassle of attribution.
