I need some honest advice. I started programming as a hobby, then moved into web development and worked on making websites for a company.
But honestly, I don’t feel like I’m great at it, and I’m not super passionate about it either. It was just a job that I didn’t dislike, and it seemed stable. But now I’m questioning if it’s enough for my future.
I hear a lot of people saying the market is full, competition is tough, and being just okay won’t cut it.
I’m willing to work hard to get better, but I’m not sure if it’s worth it. Is web development still a good career choice compared to other paths that might need a whole new education or degree?
It is the responsibility of a web developer to take care of services such as website security, maintenance, search optimization, web hosting, after-sales support, SEO, Content Management, and other related services.
It’s okay to not always love your job. We all get excited about things sometimes, but then reality sets in. There will be times when work feels like just a job, and that’s normal.
The problem is, that everyone tells you to “follow your dreams” and doesn’t talk about the tough parts. New people get super excited at first, but they don’t always share when things get boring or hard. That’s just part of the deal sometimes.
The best advice I heard? Get good at something. You’ll enjoy it more once you’re skilled, not before. That’s true for me at least.
With the advent of AI and chatbots like chatgpt…I would not recommend anyone to take a career in web development. Also, do not forget there are website makers like wix that one can always use for free
hi brother arthur, safeguarding your website from cyberattacks is essential. Web development companies can provide security audits and implement measures to protect your site.
