I’m interested in deploying my backend and there seems to be many options. I’m wondering what the most value I can get out of ~$5 a month.
I’m also partially interested in learning how to deploy applications, so a learning curve is fine with me rather than just relying on a PaaS to do everything.
Lol it absolutely is. If they want to be a cheap hoster, they should use money where it is useful. Spending tons of money on a fancy frontend that no one uses very often, what’s the point? Idgaf how ugly it is as long as it’s usable. VPS hosts are for developers that need functionality and not some marketing dudes who need glitter blown into their butts.
Hosting made for everyone | alwaysdata would give you Node.js, Python, PHP, MariaDB, and PostgreSQL, daily backups, email accounts, SSH access, SFTP, and 10GB storage.
@Blakeley
DON’T rely on Oracle for production hosting. Always keep backup. Use it for your personal things. They’ll terminate or suspend your account without even asking/noticing you.
