Is this a fair price for a new website?

If I’m mistaken, I apologize. Tell me where’s better.

I contacted a friend who works as a web developer in the area to rebuild an outdated website for a company I oversee. Just to make sure this is appropriate:

$2,000. $300 per year $120 for hosting and upkeep each month

The website won’t be used for sales, and SEO won’t be done (maybe in the future). essentially an updated website that contains clinic-related information.

Is this how much this service usually costs?

Do you know of any more reasonably priced solutions in terms of monthly and annual recurring fees? I think $2K is a fair price to develop a new website.

What are the exact criteria for this website? If you believe it is reasonable, this is the value you assign to the website.

To be honest, $2k is a small sum, but it sounds like a fantastic deal.

From my experience, $2,000 upfront for development and $300 per year for hosting and upkeep seems reasonable, especially if the website is mainly for sharing clinic-related information and won’t involve online sales or immediate SEO efforts.

Could you clarify the website requirements? If it meets your expectations, that reflects its perceived value.

2k seems quite low, but it sounds like a fair offer.

In my opinion, $2000 is pretty inexpensive for the first site design and development, but this is most likely due to them wanting to trap you into that longer-term service and hosting payments.
