Could that possibly be the issue? That the credit card links to another Hetzner account?
It’s odd and frustrating that they don’t disclose the reasons behind account terminations.
Well, they assured me previously that wouldn’t cause issues.

Referring to this FAQ , your issue might be linked to using a VPN or a free email service.
I haven’t experienced similar problems with Hetzner, fortunately.

@Corey
I have another Hetzner account with a Gmail address, and it is functioning correctly. Additionally, I did not use any VPN during registration.

I’ve never faced any issues; I’ve utilized Hetzner for years.

That’s why I chose Hetzner initially; they provide affordable and reliable service. But this time was unexpected.
I have another account that works fine.

According to Cloudflare, botnets are increasingly funded by stolen credit cards used for VMs. Hetzner is likely striving to combat this, making it harder for genuine customers to gain trust.

I faced the same issue a couple of years ago; my server vanished without recourse. Luckily, since they operated on post-billing at the time, I wasn’t charged for anything in the end, so it’s hard to be too upset.

That’s terrifying. Did it occur without any warning?

Yes, and they didn’t even notify me after they deleted the server and disabled my account; I had to email support to figure out why I was locked out.
