I’ve worked as a freelance solo for more than 20 years. verbal only. It’s beneficial to begin your career at an agency in order to network. Since I love DevOps, I’ve always hosted my clients (totally managed). Hosting has grown to be a sizable source of revenue for me, so I’d definitely suggest looking into it as well, as part of your offering.
