Secret Santa Gift Ideas for a Web Developer

I’m doing a secret Santa with some friends and I’ve left it way too late, so I need some ideas! My budget is £30, and I’m buying for a friend who recently started a career in web development. I want to get him some gifts related to that. Any useful or funny ideas would be appreciated!

I got my coworker a mini 3-key keyboard—it’s a gag gift for a web developer, but also functional! The only keys are cut, copy, and paste :joy:

If it can be remapped, it’s a fantastic product!

That’s actually a pretty good idea!

I thought about getting this for my parents since they don’t get keyboard shortcuts.

For programming, you might want to consider a second monitor, maybe one that’s portrait-style. Otherwise, the main monitor might seem underwhelming.

@Adley
Don’t forget to add another Samsung 57" Odyssey Neo G9 monitor for this setup!

Let’s keep that our little secret.

A one-month subscription to cursor AI or Copilot.

An XXL mousepad. I use mine every day on all of my computers. Some examples:

Gigantus XXL
Corsair Spill Proof

How about Discord Nitro or a cool RGB mouse or keyboard?

Consider a rubber duck, a small Logitech mousepad (easy to bring to the office), a laptop stand, or a monitor stand (there are some affordable options on Amazon with gas pistons). A power bank is also a reliable backup gift.

How about this T-shirt? Tech Humor Shirt. I’ll grab my coat!
