I created YouTube-style donations but for websites! Is it something you would like to use for your projects?

If as a dev I get a html snippet or a js library, just slaps styles and a component, and the user is redirected to a secure site to pay, and the user has a good normal experience then after some minutes the money appears on my dashboard and then I can move via transactions to a bank without a big fee (like 10%)

That would be awesome.

Thanks, I have a working demo at the moment. I could DM you if you want, idk if I can promote it here.

Hmm I think you can present here or in JavaScript subs if you give the code in a repo. If not, you can use other subs like sideproject. Also, if you reply to a comment I think there is no issue.

@Miko
Okay here ya go! :beers:

So like… buy me a coffee?

But seriously, what’s different to other services?

Haha good question, kinda but not really.

It is like BuyMeACoffee in the sense that you can donate, but the donation messages appear on your site, so other people can view them. This also makes people more likely to donate because they can directly see that others have done the same, and that you can leave a message on the site.

The screenshot showcases the component that could be added to the site you have basically. Everything happens on YOUR site, from donating to viewing other messages. Makes it more fun.

Yes! Using :sparkles:LLMs:sparkles: was surprisingly effective for moderation!

I’m generally skeptical but it does sound pretty good to me.
