How Can AI Work Alone Like This?

I mean I know devs can create bots so in a way it’s still going to be

Why say it? Are AIs looking for jobs now?

That’s what I’m saying. They wrote it like the posting is not meant to be read or applied to by a person. Seems silly. Even if a program was looking around and applying to jobs, that program doesn’t have general intelligence, it probably won’t even be able to do what they’re asking.

It might be a rule issue.

I’ve see lots of ads on this forum for “here’s how I made applying for jobs automatic”

One of the clients of my (HR Tech) company is seeing many AI submitted applications. These bots also fill their HR team’s inbox with follow ups the next day. It’s quite annoying.

Why?

Because of old union rules, among other things. Some places have rules that all job openings have to have a listing and a process. This stops unfair hiring.

@Jesse
But why would an “AI role” be a “job opening” at all?

Yes. Yes they are. There are some openings that hire AI programs specifically.

So, does the AI program send in his resume? Is he going to pass the team interview?

@Zaire
No - it will probably be rejected automatically by the AI looking at the resumes.

@Zaire
That’s actually where it does its best work

I will say that this forum gets TONS of job scams from scammers pretending to be real companies. They are either:

  1. You are hired. You need to buy special equipment from our seller. Deposit this fake check and send a payment to this account.

  2. Sign up on this weird website. Your job is to “do tasks” like clicking buttons. You will see your account balance go up. Eventually you get tasks that you need to deposit money to unlock. Send money to unlock the tasks and then you can get your balance.

It’s obviously not true.

Sounds like a way to get AI programs to rack up a big bill to AI developers, lol

I think it’s just clever advertising. I’ve seen a few posts about this on social media, so it’s working. They spread their name by playing into the AI hype.

Can my pet AI program apply?

Just get off this forum and save yourself from people and companies with a low IQ.
