You can also explore the complete website that I have made here , It’s a screenshot mockup generator tool that I made to create beautiful screenshots and mockups for various usecases.
Open to feedback.
PS - Tech stack - NextJS, tailwind css (framer motion and shadcn UI), mongodb, cloudflare r2 for hosting static assets, stripe for payments.

I eventually want to increase the price to $49/year but still need some initial users hence have settled for $29/year, hence showing 40% off. Also I will be doing a product hunt launch soon so I don’t want to price it very high and want to keep it affordable for everyone.
This sort of thing is frowned upon in Australia and goes against consumer law.
A business shouldn’t mislead customers about savings on products or services.
For example, a business may advertise a sale by using statements such as ‘WAS $275 NOW $149’. This implies the buyer will save the difference between the higher and lower price.
The advertised savings may be misleading or deceptive if the product or service:
has never been sold at the higher price, or
was sold in a limited amount at the higher price immediately before the sale

How does this distinguish itself from existing tools like carbon or codesnap?
Hey, as you have seen in this tool, it has a lot more different themes, shadows and background apart from all the customization options. Also the download quality is 1080p even for free users. I have also tried to keep the UI clean and simple. Code screenshots is just one tool but Picyard has a lot more tools like device mockups, tweet screenshots, screenshot mockups, etc. you can explore the website.
I swear, this sub is just full of people shilling their recreation of open source projects as paid projects lately. Good for you that you made it and you value your time, but this sorta stuff has been around for nearly a decade at this point.
